Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all tutoring and counseling services from Umer Prep (“we,” “us”). By booking or paying for sessions, you agree to them. If the student is under 18, the parent or guardian who books agrees on the student’s behalf.

Services

We offer one-on-one online sessions in SAT and ACT prep, AP courses, and college application counseling for middle and high school students. All sessions take place on Zoom and last 60 minutes unless agreed otherwise.

Payment

Cancellations and rescheduling

Refunds

You can request a refund for any unused sessions in a package at any time before it expires. We refund them at the per-session rate you paid. Sessions already held aren’t refundable.

No guaranteed results

We work hard to help every student improve, but we can’t guarantee any specific test score, grade, or college admission decision. Results depend on many things outside our control, including the student’s effort and practice between sessions.

Student and family responsibilities

Session recording

Sessions aren’t recorded unless both the parent and Umer Prep agree in advance. Students and families may not record sessions without our permission.

Materials

Worksheets, notes, and other materials we provide are for the student’s personal use only. Please don’t share, sell, or post them.

Limitation of liability

Our services are educational guidance. To the extent the law allows, Umer Prep’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the services involved.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page, and changes won’t affect packages already paid for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
