Our Mission
I still remember being a student myself, staring at college lists, test scores, and applications, wondering if I was enough. I know how heavy that feeling can be, and how lonely it can get when it seems like everyone else has it figured out.
Umer Prep began as a quiet idea four years ago, and it grew out of one simple belief: no student should have to face this alone. That’s why we are a student-led mission, built by students, for students. We aren’t far removed from the SAT, AP exams, and college applications. We just went through them, and we remember every part of it.
Our goal is to help each student find their path, whether that means getting into a dream college, landing a research program they didn’t think was within reach, or finally walking into an AP exam with confidence. I scored a 1580 on the SAT and was admitted to multiple Ivy League universities, and I built Umer Prep to pass on everything I learned along the way.
One day, I hope to become a physician. But I’ve learned that making an impact doesn’t have to wait. It starts with the students I can help right now.
